Meet the Doctor
Dr. Alan Cook D.C.
Being a North Bloomfield native, Dr. Cook is a local to Northeast Ohio. He graduated from Maplewood High School in 2018, and immediately started undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University in biology with emphasis on Pre-Med. On an accelerated track he left YSU in 2021 to begin his Chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Cook spearheaded his clinical training by accomplishing over 1000 hours of clinical training in addition to a hands on internship in Green Bay Wisconsin. Dr. Cook graduated Cum Laude in February of 2025 from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Cook has taken extensive training in Gonstead, Diversified, Activator, and SOT (Sacro Occipital Technique) adjusting methods, as well as intensive training and research into nutrition. "Not only my personal mission, but also the goal of Abide Chiropractic and Wellness, is to serve patients in the best way possible"
Dr. Cook is a member at St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Middlefield, Ohio. When he is not treating patients you can find him: taking hikes, hanging out with his family, feeding his inner child watching cartoons, shooting shotguns, or gardening!
